A really interesting lecture this evening all about Professor Shareen Forbes' research (both past and present) into islet transplantation. Even better that it was online so I could watch it from the bus on the way home.

Men aged 65 are invited for a one-off simple ultrasound of the abdomen (tummy) to detect a AAA. Treating a AAA early greatly reduces the chance of it causing serious problems.

It could save your life.
