@laur_akins My mom and dad never said or talked about people back then judging, I wouldn’t be surprised though if people did!! Kids would try and say we aren’t related because I’m dark, my younger sis would stick up for me always!!

@laur_akins Love this so much!! I am adopted; as my older sister is and OUR Mother has truly been our gift, of giving us a life we couldn’t have due to unfortunate circumstances! Her and our dad had their own biological daughter after, but never once said we aren’t related due to skin!
