Sometimes the mail lady stops in front of my house to touch up her makeup, and I like to think that somewhere farther along her route is a broody and grizzled single father with a plucky daughter who she's trying to impress. #welcometomyhallmarkmovie
@JessCozziWrites I haven't gone away for more than 4 days in a long time, but for those I need at least two. I need an extra in case I don't like the first one.
@JessCozziWrites 64 this year, 7 this month. December included a snow day and a bad cold, so I had extra reading time. I also managed to read an equal number of library books and books I own.
@JessCozziWrites I just hit my reading goal last night, but I really want to have read the same number of library books and books I own. So I'm going to try to read 7 books I own before the end of the year. ๐๐ญ
@JessCozziWrites Timers have never worked well for me, but Hank Green's Focus Friend does because I don't want my little bean to get sad! ๐ It also keeps me from checking my phone constantly.
@JessCozziWrites Also, when you're doing solid stitching, it's easier to fix mistakes. Since there's a stitch in every square, you can just stitch on top of the wrong one.
@JessCozziWrites I also highlight every stitch I make on my pattern to keep myself on track. That's pretty essential with a piece of solid stitching like this.
@JessCozziWrites I do one color for as long as I can (to a point--if I go too far, I start making mistakes). Sometimes I'm working on an area where I have to change color every few stitches, and that's a pain because progress feels slow. But the whole thing isn't like that.
