Around 88% of those affected live in accommodation tied to their work, and members have told PCS of the stress, anxiety and fear the proposals are causing.

In the new year, from 5 January to 16 February, DWP members will be asked in a statutory ballot if they are willing to take strike action over pay, after receiving an insulting pay offer.
