Who is actually running the country?

Who has the authority to bypass security protocols?
Who signs that off?
And why?

This isn’t a minor oversight.
This is structural power operating outside democratic accountability.

We are told we live in a transparent system.
A fair system.
A system we control through the ballot box.

But moments like this expose something deeper —
A parallel layer of influence.

Hidden.
Unelected.
Untouchable.

This is why trust is collapsing.

Because people are starting to realise…

The democracy they believed in
may only be the surface.

The Irish Media Minister says he will be asking the Media Commission to "examine" protest coverage because it was too lopsided in favour of the farmers and truckers.

The government sent in the military to break up protests and now they want to clamp down on how the media covers those protests because it made the government look bad.

Ireland is gone full totalitarian.
