There is no way this is accurate data.... 68% cancel rate. While I agree volume is down over 40%; pricing hasnt dropped nearly enough to justify these stats. This is causing fear for little reason based on what we need in our stats.

KB Homes, a large home builder, just reported a 68% CANCEL RATE.
Meaning that over 2/3 of Homebuyers walked away from their contracts in the quarter. Leaving KB Homes with a massive pile-up of inventory.
Last year the Cancel Rate was only 13%.

@octal@octal We are still considered a Seller's market in many major cities. While volume is low right now, it's not going to be that way for long. Buying now is actually a great time. There will be no major crash just a lull.
