Hello! I’m Sarah Valentini and I’m in my second semester here at Concordia University. I’m currently enrolled in the Sociology program, however I’m hoping to transfer into the ECEE program by next fall!😊
@KristieDawn3 🙋🏼♀️ it’s my first year! I can imagine how different the experience is. Hopefully I’ll be able to have a normal university experience some day!
@niruu930309 I’m really shy, but I love group projects if presentations are included. I find it so much less stressful! However, if the project doesn’t include a presentation then I prefer to work alone!
@shanna_king2@GolezVicente I’m with you on that one. I’ve spent so much money on food this past year and online shopping has become an even bigger addiction😬😂
@christinalepz I agree! I think it’s really sad that most female characters are always portrayed in a very seductive way, with thin waists, big breasts, etc. I also think it’s sad that whenever there are bigger characters involved, they’re mostly always there for comedic relief or as villains😕
@AlexiaTermine I think it’s okay for people to peacefully protest, but the riots are really not cool. I find it disappointing that people were burning things and breaking the windows of small businesses. That isn’t how you get a message across.
I really liked the Twitter aspect because it was nice to hear everyone’s thoughts about the class material. It made for a great learning environment. There were times where I was unsure of something I had read & seeing people’s tweets about the topic really cleared things up!
As the semester comes to an end, I have to say that I really enjoyed this class. The journals were really interesting and not too demanding; I liked that they were based primarily on opinion and experience which made them easier to do than most university assignments I’ve had.
