Trump’s HHS recently proposed rules that strip safeguards for beneficiaries from discrimination on the basis of religion. These changes would allow providers operating a voucher program to require beneficiaries to engage in religious activities in order to receive benefits.

Trump’s Dept. of Health and Human Services recently repealed anti-discrimination protections in HHS programs. In the absence of these protections, LGBTQ people, women, and religious minorities face an increased risk for denial of taxpayer funded services without recourse. (1/2)

Trump’s Department of Labor recently published regulations empowering businesses and organizations receiving taxpayer dollars to discriminate against their LGBTQ employees with few safeguards from abuse. This is unprecedented, harmful, and flatly unacceptable.
