GYSTC wants to announce our 2023 Don Cargill STEM Scholar Award Recipients. As a part of this special recognition, the school district will receive a $500 grant for the awardee to purchase STEM education materials for their classroom.

Had an ELECTRIC time with Mrs. Wetherington’s 5th grade students at New GA ES as they collected and graphed real-time data from solar panels, built solar-powered circuits and investigated alternative sources of energy! @pauldingboe@WestGYSTC
Mrs. Wetherington’s 3rd grade class at Shelton ES culminated their GA Habitat unit with a Green Screen Project. Students researched a habitat, completed an informational writing, developed a script, created a poster, then filmed their presentations! AWESOME 👏 🐻💙@pauldingboe
