@Auroralovesrpgs @frauylmz @taylizwrrior True, but then when Lucien shows up to the Naming ceremony, Feyre asks Elain to smile at him. Then with the attack and the aftermath, there wouldn’t have been a great time to reject him. Plus that just seems like something SJM would save for Elain’s own POV.

@Auroralovesrpgs @taylizwrrior I think that was on purpose the same way SJM had Nesta spiral to her lowest point by ACOSF. I don’t love that that seems to be her MO, but it’s not atypical at all. Elain’s potential journey in ACOFM is the storyline I’m most excited for, with or without Azriel

@Auroralovesrpgs @taylizwrrior SJM changes her mind a lot. It’s been years since that post & she always has Elain shrink away from Lucien & become more timid/depressed around him. It doesn’t look good to then turn around & claim that Elain was actually just being stubborn & misguided the whole time.

@sakyelain Elain does like doing it, but it also serves as yet another example of the IC only asking her to do domestic labor. It doesn’t even occur to them that she wants to contribute more to their political plays and when she does ask/offer, someone always says no or doubts her.

@xalicexwrites I hope it’s about Elain or at least mostly. I have a feeling SJM might keep ACOFM Multi-POV because potentially everyone’s gonna be in different places on different missions, but I want Elain to be the main focus.

@xalicexwrites Prefacing that I’m team Elain & Anyone-But-Lucien. Nesta did actually have a tiny POV in ACOFAS, it was buried in Cassian’s chapter after he throws her solstice gift in the river because she rejected it. It’s her in her apartment and shows how dark a headspace she’s in.
