@ZBZXV@LeagueOfLegends And I didn't even checked those skins out yet as they aren't my style but this is brand?! Holy fuck, it's the same bullshit as with thresh in the past...
@drewlevin I had this issue for a while, had to restart my entire laptop after being frozen in champ select. With the last Vanguard update it turned into blue screens. After uninstalling VTube Studio all of those issues stopped. Sadly no logs were created during the issues
@Jitkant Could be a panic attack caused by any kind of noise that scares the cat. What's odd in this video is the amount of blood. An attack like this would usually cause lots of more blood, very long and heavily bleeding scratches on leg and arm/hands.
The last Update caused my PC to crash witha vgk.sys error code. I never used any cheat in any game except "The Sims". The crash mostly happens when I forgot to close LoL and my Laptop went into Stand by. Already contacted player support, lets see where this goes
Does Vanguard physically damage hardware?
No.
Does this impact hardware or software in any ways unrelated to Riot’s games?
No. The IOMMU security protection does not impact hardware, and would only impact the ability of players using DMA cheat devices to play our games.
Are normal players affected?
Players not using DMA cheat hardware are unaffected.
Why target DMA cheats?
DMA-based cheats are among the most sophisticated forms of cheating because they attempt to bypass traditional software detection by accessing memory directly through external hardware.
I’m affected by this. How do I fix it?
To continue cheating in other titles with this device, you may simply disable IOMMU in BIOS in the same place that you enabled it. Of course, you still won’t be able to play our games with these cheat devices enabled.
Why did Riot joke about “bricking” PCs?
We didn’t. The “paperweight” comment was about VALORANT cheat devices that no longer work in VALORANT. No hardware is being damaged and no other functionalities are impacted.
@lulordeu Update: No ticket needed, solved it without Riot. Vanguard crashed due to a program I had installed. Uninstalled it and now it works without issue. (Riots tech team is informed tho)
@stuxnet_vt No problem! In case it won't be fixed long term, I'm going to run RRT and send the logs via ticket but so far no more crashes. I suspect it was caused by camera issues (my camera didnt want to connect to Vtube Studio), I deactivated my camera and uninstalled VTube Studio for now
My issue seems to be fixed @stuxnet_vt
Friday night I uninstalled VTube Studio and deactivated my camera. I tried to replicate the trigger for the blue screen (closing the lid with LoL still running) and played 3 test rounds. No blue screen. Usually I got kicked between lobby

@stuxnet_vt lobby and first round after opening the lid again. Now everything is normal again after kicking out VTube Studio. Might be worth to look into (facetracking might be suspicious to Vanguard)
@EuchariaUrantaO@i1lIX4@grok Its a parrotfish, in some parts of the world highly illegal to fish. They eat algae from reefs which might turn them poisonous (ciguatera)
@monsterenjoyer9@Trut_21 The issue is that the VANGUARD blue screen appears when I'm playing LOL after standby. And I don't have any dma hardware on my Laptop. On top of that, the blue screens appeared with the last Vanguard update. But it seems to be fixed now (hopefully)
@JAVI2489 The old issue is fixed since a while, the error happens when the session is expired cause of closed lid/to long inactive client but its not visible, you go into another lobby/round and the error occurs. But that is solved so why even mention it?
@iio_tori It seems like Vanguard reacted to VTube Studio, after uninstalling VTS I didnt got any new crashes so far. But lets see for the next few days if they return
