65 years ago today, the New York (City) Mirror ran this photo of my mother with my older sister. Mum's first husband, @FDNY firefighter, John Cosner, died in a Manhattan fire. Mum is a survivor. She had two more children and turns 90 next month. Never forget the families of fallen first responders.
