More good news, again from a court - the Robber Baron’s of the Covid era are being held to account. Starting with Michelle Mone and the company she had a ‘quantum relationship’ with - (being both connected and not connected at the same time) - a judge has just ordered them to repay the £120m they collected for providing defective protective equipment.

In the peak of the Covid crisis Mone and a whole bunch of Tory party friends and donors enriched themselves with fast track contracts (allowing 25% higher priced contracts) for equipment that they had no experience of or clue about - there’s some £15bn of dodgy looking deals out there that need looking at next.

Rachael Reeves announced a ‘hit squad’ for this at Labour’s conference this week - can’t come soon enough. Millions of kids are starving in this country, for the want of £3bn to end the toxic Tory two child benefit cap - the same country where very wealthy people enriched themselves at our expense during a national crisis. Time for some balance. And for some justice.
