@sarajcox Got stranded in Liverpool , flight cancelled. A lovely couple brought me home with them. He was Irish (as am I) sitting in their living room chatting we discovered that he not only worked in the same place as my dad but they played on the same football team 40 years or so ago..

@lemachine I’ve had lots of interaction with Ryanair social media. Always very entertaining. They treat their customers like shite so I can only imagine how badly they treat their staff ! Best of luck in your future endeavours !

@RMcGreevy1301 I had the flu over Christmas about 20 years ago. Bed bound for a week or so. BBC were showing the whole thing a few episodes a day. I watched it all (had seen bits of it as a child). It was brilliant and Laurence Olivier was sublime.
