Jeg kender en slave i Danmark.

Ikke en slave fra 1800-tallet. Men en ung kvinde, som i mere end 20 år har levet som slave i Danmark.

Det lyder så vanvittigt, at man næsten ikke kan tro på det.

I mere end to år har jeg været optaget af noget, som jeg ikke har kunnet tale med så mange om.

Jeg kender nemlig en ung kvinde, som det meste af hendes liv har levet som en slave her i Danmark.

I morgen udkommer bogen Aisha Rebel – Kvinde i en klan. En dokumenteret fortælling om at leve som slave i Danmark i 00’erne, 10’erne og 20’erne.

Aisha – som ikke er hendes rigtige navn – ringede til mig fra sit skjul efter min tale om “den tredje erkendelse”.
Siden har vi været i tæt kontakt.
Med hånden på hjertet kan jeg sige, at jeg aldrig har mødt et vildere menneske end hende.

Aisha fortæller om et rigtigt liv som arabisk-islamisk slave i Danmark.

Om at få brændt sin tunge med en ske.
Om jævnlig tortur udført af alle mændene omkring hende.
Om en lang række voldtægter, som begyndte på hendes bryllupsnat.
Om at lægge sig på knæ og vaske fødderne på sin far, brødre, ægtemand og svigerfar.
Om, hvordan piger og kvinder forsvinder ud af det blå, uden at nogen opdager det.
Om at skulle slå blikket ned, spise i køkkenet, gå tildækket og holde sin mund.
Om velfærdsstatens svigt og tro på løgn, bedrag og udnyttelse af vores tillidskultur.
Om, hvad der bliver sagt i arabiske friskoler, moskéer og boligområder, når tilsyn og myndigheder kigger den anden vej.

Aisha kan ikke vise sig selv frem offentligt for mændene i hendes miljø her i Danmark vil dræbe hende. Og ja, det er dokumenteret.

Det er også derfor, denne fortælling kan få svært ved at komme ud.

Aisha kan ikke stille op på forsiden af aviser og magasiner. Hun kan ikke gå i studiet. Hun kan ikke fortælle sin historie fra en scene.
Hun kan ikke stå frem med sit eget ansigt.

Derfor har hun brug for dig.

I wrote that Jews and Christians should stand together.

The comments filled up with Muslims and leftists telling me it should be Christians and Muslims. Same floor. Same root. Brothers of the book.

Last year that brotherhood killed 4,849 of us.

Christians are the most persecuted group on earth. 388 million now live under high or extreme persecution. More than one in seven Christians on the planet.

Of those 4,849 killed for their faith, 93 percent died in sub-Saharan Africa.

Nigeria alone: 3,490 people, murdered for being Christian. 125,000 have been killed since 2009. Around 32 a day right now.

Go look up who killed them.

Boko Haram and ISWAP in Nigeria. Al-Shabaab in Somalia, where not one open church remains. Islamic militias in Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger, handing villages the choice of conversion, jizya or flight. The ADF in Congo, beheading villagers in Allah's name. ISIS in Mozambique. The Taliban in Afghanistan, where a Christian has no legal existence at all. The blasphemy laws in
Pakistan, where Christian girls of twelve are abducted, forcibly converted, and handed back to their kidnapper by a court. The Copts in Egypt, bombed inside their own churches.

Iraq had one and a half million Christians in 2003. Today under 250,000. Syria had more than two million. They are gone.

That is not crossfire. That is a direction.

Now the part where the conversation always gets shut down.

Islam was not built as a private faith. It was built as a state. Muhammad was lawgiver, judge and commander in one.

Christianity began with a man on a cross who said his kingdom was not of this world.

Islam began in Medina with an army. Classical jurisprudence divides the world into dar al-islam and dar al-harb, the house of Islam and the house of war. The objective is that the first expands until the second no longer exists.

And people want it. Pew surveyed 38,000 Muslims across 39 countries. 99 percent
in Afghanistan want sharia as the official law of the land. 84 percent in Pakistan. 86 percent in Malaysia. Nearly eight in ten across sub-Saharan Africa.

That is not the fringe. That is the centre.

Now try this.

A Muslim stands up and says: Jesus is God.

In that second he is no longer a Muslim. Placing anything beside Allah is shirk, and according to the Quran it is the one sin that is not forgiven. Sura 5:72 says it plainly: whoever calls Christ God is an unbeliever.

What does it cost? At least 22 countries criminalise leaving Islam. In roughly a dozen of them it can cost your life. Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia, Mauritania, Qatar, the Emirates, Pakistan, Malaysia, the Maldives, Brunei.

Elsewhere you lose your marriage instead, your children, your inheritance, your citizenship. In Malaysia, Lina Joy fought six years for the legal right to leave Islam. She lost.

And outside the courtrooms, the family is waiting.

A Christian who converts to Islam in the West gets a welcome ceremony and a post on social media. A Muslim who converts to Christianity changes his name, moves city, and never tells his mother.

There is your same root.

So no.

If that solidarity were real, it would run both ways. Where were the marches for the 3,490 Nigerians? Where was the Friday sermon about the burned churches in Burkina Faso?

It does not exist. Solidarity that only switches on when it can be aimed at a third party is not solidarity. It is an alliance against someone.

There is not one Muslim-majority country where Christians hold full and equal rights. Not one.

Meanwhile there are Western countries where Muslims hold more rights than Christians hold anywhere in the Muslim world. The whole case sits inside that asymmetry.

And let us not pretend this only happens out there. We carried the ideology forward ourselves. Not under force. Out of politeness. CONTINUES👇🏽

💔 SHE MADE IT OUT OF THE FIRE… THEN REALIZED HER BABY WAS STILL INSIDE. SO SHE WENT BACK IN. 😭🕊️

38-year-old Minnesota mother Bonnie Pierce had already escaped her burning home when she realized every mother’s worst nightmare…

Her toddler was still inside.

Bonnie didn’t hesitate.

She ran back into the flames to get her baby.

When firefighters finally reached them, Bonnie was reportedly found lying over her little girl, using her own body to shield her from the fire and smoke. 💔

She protected that baby until she physically couldn’t anymore.

Bonnie suffered burns over nearly half of her body and had reportedly gone without oxygen for approximately 15 minutes. She fought for two more days before sadly passing away from her injuries.

But her baby survived. 🙏🏾

Both of Bonnie’s daughters survived.

That little girl may grow up hearing the story of how, when flames surrounded her, her mother became her covering.

Bonnie knew going back inside could cost her everything… and she went anyway.

Because sometimes a mother’s love doesn’t calculate the danger.

It just says, “My baby is in there.”

She gave her life protecting the life she brought into this world.

There are heroes who wear uniforms…

And then there are mothers like Bonnie Pierce. 🕊️💔

May her daughters always know just how fiercely their mama loved them.

Rest peacefully, Bonnie. You saved your baby. 🕊️🙏🏾

Those who lived through the disaster recalled him standing bravely amid the panic, listening to confessions, granting collective absolution, and reciting the Rosary right up until the ocean claimed the stern.

Hay una pared en Roma que destruye una idea muy extendida sobre los primeros cristianos.

En las catacumbas de San Sebastián, en Roma, apareció una inscripción que probablemente se remonta a mediados del siglo III:

«Pablo y Pedro, rogad por Víctor».

No es una inscripción medieval. No es una tradición inventada siglos después. Es un testimonio arqueológico de una comunidad cristiana de la Antigüedad pidiendo la intercesión de los apóstoles.

Y lo más interesante es que no se trata de un caso aislado. En aquella zona se encontraron numerosos grafitos dirigidos a Pedro y Pablo con peticiones como «tenednos presentes» o «rogad por nosotros».

Esto tiene una enorme importancia apologética: la comunión de los santos y la petición de su intercesión no aparecen de repente en la Edad Media.

Ya encontramos cristianos de los primeros siglos que acudían a los apóstoles y les pedían que intercedieran ante Dios.

Y hay algo precioso detrás de esas palabras.

Aquel cristiano llamado Víctor vivió hace casi 1.800 años. Su nombre quedó grabado en una pared porque alguien quiso pedir por él a Pedro y Pablo.

La fe de aquellos cristianos sigue hablando desde las piedras de Roma.
