Grateful to have been part of @VodacomTanzania Digital Accelerator since May 2025.
Yesterday, @sarataniAI emerged as second winner in the program.
We are thrilled to this achievement
Much appreciations to @VodacomAccelTZ for the tremendous support and growth.
Incredible energy from the #MlindeCampaign 🇹🇿💙 At @sarataniAI, we’re targeting 10,000 cervical screenings this year.
Only ~7% of Tanzanian women have ever been screened—far from WHO’s 70% screening target (90–70–90).
Congrats @drsam15A, Gladness Oscar & @tamsatanzania
@WHO Cervical Cancer Elimination Initiative calls for 70% of women to be screened for cervical cancer using a high-performance test by the age of 35 years and by the age of 45 years, WHO strongly recommends the use of HPV testing as a screening method.
Our mission has always been the same. Leveraging #AI to strengthen cancer screening and diagnostic capacity in Tanzania. A minute saved is a life saved. Be the first to test our decision-support platform for cervical cancer screening, and share insights to make it even better.
We invite health professionals to join our waitlist for our beta testing of @sarataniAI
We are building a seamless pipeline to make cervical screening faster and accurate while giving our already skewed health professionals chance to focus on the most complex cases.
Are you licensed medical doctor or nurse?
Be the first to test, validate, and share insights that will help us strengthen the platform and shape the future of AI-driven healthcare in Africa.

Impressive work, Dr. Sangudi 👏🏽! Leveraging AI for cervical cancer screening is a game-changer, especially for primary care facilities. Excited to see how @sarataniAI will strengthen early detection and save lives across Africa. 🌍 #DigitalHealth#AI4Health
@DanielMasungaMD@sarataniAI Many thanks to you Dr Masunga! We have a great work ahead but eventually we are going to change the late diagnosis of cervical cancer narrative
It disheartens to see more than 70% women are diagnosed at late stage so they just end up having palliative care.
Today is #WorldCancerResearchDay!
The World Code Against Cancer Framework established by @IARCWHO provides region-specific, evidence-based tools to turn the latest #CancerPrevention research into actionable strategies.

It's great to see @sarataniAI going into global platforms. We will be represented by @LouisTsere at the Africa-Oxford Conference pitching about how #AI has the potential to digitize cancer screening and diagnostics services and complement the existing shortage of HR for health.
Saratani AI will be at the @UniofOxford Africa Conference on May 24–25! @LouisTsere and @Kitambala_Lucy will pitch our AI-powered cervical cancer screening tool in the Innovation Seed Fund competition. Let’s make screening fast, accurate & accessible—because every minute counts.
You can now generate a GradCAM from @sarataniAI Cervichat.
Worthy day spending now we move to LLAMA 3.3 with a focus to building a vision model with automatic report generation.
@Benji_Fernandes@sarataniAI we are using locally available datasets to build AI-based decision support algorithms for cancer screening and diagnosis in Africa
@Benji_Fernandes@sarataniAI as it's an organization working on AI-based cancer screening with a great target of ensuring all hospitals have a fast, accessible, reliable and accurate cancer screening program.
I recommend they come to @muhimbiliuniver (this can be after they meet other companies). As a leading health university, it set to be the hub and state of art for medical training, research and health innovation. The ongoing expansion at Mlonganzila campus and future of Kigoma Campus open door for international collaboration and I hope they will love to see how for the past few years we have been incorporating innovation in medical field, giving rise to the best startup like @sarataniAI
I will be happy to welcome them at MUHAS and there is special unit that can host them and it will add value in their journey to Tanzania. @amour_maryam
