You can ordinarily see people from SC /ST communities converted but still holding the certificate, to get benefits and continue to use the SC/ST Act as a weapon
In TN a minister got his daughter married as per Christian rituals but was elected from a reserved constituency.
Just 2 days back a Pastor called Senthilkumar was accused of money laundering.
There's a famous Ganesh Pastor in Maharashtra

OBCs and GCs have no incentive to work with missionaries or Islamists. Having said the onus to keep this Nation a Hindu majority cannot be only on the OBCs and GCs

Issue is BJP is also heading the same way Congress did in these matters, with more aggression and nobody to stop.

Congressification of BJP will turn out real bad and dangerous for the Nation

All the students feel sympathy for Sahil. However, the students are now raising certain demands during the protests, and many of those demands are quite valid. But in my opinion, the case filed against Professor Doolla is completely baseless. From what I have gathered so far, caste-based discrimination does not happen at IIT Bombay. It never happened to me, nor to any of my friends. Initially, all the students were against Professor Doolla. But once people realized the full picture—that campus politics were at play—they took a more informed stand after understanding the case properly. I also attended the protest on the first day, but I eventually realized that their point wasn't entirely valid. Invoking the SC/ST Act, for instance, wasn't right; it amounts to a misuse of a constitutional provision..."

By the time the courts examine, people's liberty is violated. Isn't that a fundamental right?

Not only that, families of victims of fake cases are shattered and scarred permanently.

There's not a single judgement where the courts have punished the complainants for fake cases.

Very unfortunate we have a Judiciary that refuses to hear out genuine concerns of abuse of law but convenes in the middle of the night to hear petitions of convicted terrorists

This country is being thrown to the dogs by the very system that's supposed to protect it.

IMHO Ambedkar would have righteously outraged in such a situation and called for scrapping the draconian provisions.

#SupremeCourt refuses to entertain a plea challenging provisions of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, after petitioner argued that the law was resulting in "reverse discrimination" and questioned the compensation paid to victims under the framework.

Advocate appearing for the petitioner, told the Court that ₹493 crore had been distributed as compensation and argued that the scheme was "inviting people to lodge FIRs".

The Court observed that sufficient safeguards already exist, including the power of courts to examine whether a prima facie case under the Act is made out, and declined to entertain the plea.

#WATCH | Mumbai: IIT Bombay student suicide | On the allegations against Professor Suryanarayana Doolla, Professor Dr. Rajkumar Pant, President of the Faculty Forum, IIT Bombay, says, "Like every institute, we have a dedicated SC/ST cell for the welfare of students of that particular category... I spoke to the institute's Deputy Director, Professor Ravindra Gudi, about it, and he confirmed to me that the SC/ST cell issued a notice—stating that there was absolutely no attempt by the late Sahil to approach the cell over the last three or four months. No complaint was recorded by him—forget about a formal complaint; he had not even approached the SC/ST cell for anything... Our only point is that we are teachers, and we are discharging our duties as mandated by the institute while following institute procedures. Professor Doolla did the same... He was the Dean of Student Affairs before taking up his current position as Dean of Academic Affairs. So, to expect that a person of his nature—who is known to be very helpful to students—would do this is unreasonable... There are some situations where one has to act firmly, and he acted firmly as per the rules. But I am personally convinced that he is not the kind of person who would indulge in these kinds of acts... I see no merit in this claim. Still, I do not want to comment further on what has been reported. There is an FIR, and the law will take its own course. I think the Mumbai Crime Branch is investigating, so we have nothing to comment on that matter. The norms of society and the institute are very clear that we cannot tolerate cheating. Now, if a faculty member sees someone misusing facilities and resorting to unfair means, taking no action would be unfair to the majority of students who do not cheat..."
