Skipped the usual "headline + hero image" thing for a restaurant site.
First section is just food photos, no text at all.
Second section has the name and a book-a-table button.
Food sells before the name does.
None of these are technically hard. They just never get checked until someone complains the site feels slow.
Which one of these is on your site right now?
5. No lazy loading on CMS collections.
Long lists render every single item at once instead of as the user scrolls. Paginate or lazy load anything past 20 items.
One thing I always do in Framer for SaaS layouts: build the nav as its own component before touching anything else.
Sounds backwards but it forces you to lock spacing and breakpoints early. Saves so much reshuffling later.
Just dropped a 3D service carousel on the Framer Marketplace. Free right now.
If you've ever wanted services that actually move, this is it.
Go grab it before I change my mind on the price.
