Over 100k racists and Islamophobes are marching in London today to spread hatred against Muslims. An openly anti-Jewish march would never be tolerated, so why is anti-Muslim hatred accepted? Muslim and non-Muslim alike should speak out against racism and Islamophobia.

[Shafiq Ahmed @SardarShafiq]

Appalled by the attack on the Jewish community in Golders Green. Thoughts with those affected and emergency services. We must raise awareness and stand united to root out #antisemitism, #Islamophobia, and all forms of hatred and extremism.

You’ve got to give credit where it’s due, Pakistan’s peace proposal just helped pull the world back from the brink and save the lives of billions of people. Pakistan 🇵🇰 Zindabad👏🏼
#IranUSA

[Shafiq Ahmed @SardarShafiq]

Why the silence?Comments about Iran like this from Donald Trump are dangerous. Lives are at risk. Trump’s Mocking of Islam only spreads more hate. If #KanyeWest can be banned over antisemitism, then Islamophobia should carry consequences too. Peace over politics. Always.

The anti-Muslim sentiment sweeping across the UK and Europe is "basically racism" says Rory Stewart

Negativity thrives on silence.
Muslims: Start now! Work with schools, workplaces, and local councils to explain Ramadan, Eid, and Islamic practices. Show your impact, celebrate your faith, and flip the narrative with pride + facts.

[Shafiq Ahmed @SardarShafiq]

Tomorrow is Eid! 🎉 Muslims pump £70 bn/year into the UK economy, feed the needy, volunteer… and some still freak out over Trafalgar Square prayers. Calm down, we’re just celebrating. 😏

UK today officially recognises the State of Palestine, better late than never. A powerful symbolic move by the UK Govt & PM Keir Starmer.
Hope others follow. Justice delayed shouldn’t be justice denied.✊🇵🇸
