Whether or not the government is ready to publicly acknowledge the full extent of those relationships, it's time we get our heads in the game and take the threat seriously.

Yes, the Senate won't approve the bill to stop funding the Taliban. That's how little regard many of our politicians have for those who served in Afghanistan and fought terrorists around the world.

One of the concerns raised is that the bill could reveal where all of this money is going. I'm not kidding. Rather than bring transparency, they keep the funding flowing.

Taxpayers deserve the truth. Continuing to allow U.S. funds to support terrorism is unacceptable.
