| OPENING for @FrenchResist|
June 5, 1944 2330 hours. Situation: FUBAR. Frank pulls out his Cricket Clicker, pressing it three times, waiting two seconds, then two more clicks. He waits. Nothing. The way the airdrop went, he wouldn’t be surprised if half of Easy-
@FrenchResist the chattering of the weapons muffled slightly by the concrete. He can picture the Canadian troops being mowed down. Glancing up, the lip of the pillbox is about two metres over his head. “Anais, I’m gonna have to boost ya up.” Grabbing the grenade from his pouch, -
@FrenchResist finally a row of concrete emplacements that ran parallel to the bunker. “Those should give us cover from the beach. It’d be a hell of a waste if one our boys hit us.”

@FrenchResist He motions her to join him at the sandbags overlooking the cobblestone road leading out of town. “Any idea how far the beach is?” They had to be close, the sounds of battle could be heard in the not so distance.
@FrenchResist He crouches down, keeping an eye out down the road, waiting for any possible reinforcements. Hearing movement behind, his head jerks back, seeing Marie. “Great shooting there, Anais.”
-
@FrenchResist nothing, no movement, no sound. He sees Marie’s head inch up slightly. Is that everyone?
Only one way to find out. He pulls his pistol, takes a deep breath and stands, spinning, sweeping his pistol over the sandbags. No movement. He exhales, -
