@FlavioVolpe1 I have to say it’s pretty condescending to tell people how they Should feel. I’m a mother of 3 daughters and I do not feel safe alone on the subway, I do not feel safe walking alone at night, I do not feel safe walking by a protest home week after week. Thank you @oliviachow
@melbint04@tobi He has a great plan to make the city better. It is far better than chows plan which is show to festivals and flag raisin and give away free stuff. After 3 years in the job that’s what she thinks a mayor does.
Toronto is Canada’s biggest city, but we have just 165 frontline officers for every 100,000 people.
Montreal has 220. Vancouver has 195. Edmonton has 190.
My plan: Hire 1,000 more frontline officers to protect neighbourhoods and keep our transit and streets safe.
@ruffoloj Bc she is nothing more than a geriatric cheerleader. She has no policies other than giving away free stuff. And begging the other governments for $
Prior to Oct 7th 3 years ago… do you remember commonly seeing Palestine flags at campus protests, violent protests in the streets, the burning down of buildings/cars, or really anything else thats harmful that comes from the left?
I don’t. Weird.
I know I am biased, but how can anyone watch this debate and vote for @oliviachow?
She doesn't answer the questions.
She only sounds decent when she's reading from her notes.
She doesn't listen to the moderator.
She can't string a sentence together.
Her ideas are vague and nondescript.
Even the moderator ends up responding to her with an "...ok?" after most questions.
I wish there was a way to ensure that everyone watches a debate before voting because it's just so evident to me that @BradMBradford is crushing her on the debate stage.
#toronto #topoli
Brad Bradford sounds like a Mayor.
Olivia Chow sounds like she’s scared to lose. And now she’s trying to scare you.
But it won’t work. Torontonians are smarter than that.
They’re not scared. They’re ready for change.
@Dave_Eby When will enough be enough. 60%. 70%. It should never be over 50%. Ever. Candians work hard for their money. And for all they contribute deserve to keep the majority (at least 50%) of theie $, even the wealthy.
There is not a single story on @CBC news about the violent rioting in France. A shame because maybe if they covered the story Canadians would be less surprised when it comes for us.
I'm old enough to remember when Mark Carney told Canadians that he thought the biggest national security threat to Canada was China. Now, it seems he won't sign a trade deal with the U.S. if it restricts his ability to trade with our biggest national security threat. Weird.
