Sark Electricity User Group

We believe that the residents of Sark just want to pay a fair and reasonable price for their electricity.

It's that simple.

We wrote to the #SarkEPC to seek clarification on the recent letter from #SEL to all residents.

The Sark Energy Price Commissioner has issued a tariff variation proposal. This is a significant change in the tariff structure and comments need to be Dr White by noon on the 7th of December.

The latest from the Price Control Commissioner.

TL;DR: the price of electricity will be going up to 58p/kWh from November, with a potential fall next year.

It's worth a read though, some interesting notes regarding #SarkElectricity

Electric Tuk-tuks though..

[umm @pencadlys]

This flies in the face of everyone else abiding by the rules. Does this mean we have to start the two weeks all over again? To be as sure as we were before that individual breached fortress #Sark yesterday? I’d really like to know why he was allowed movement #Coronavirus

[Sark Electricity User Group @SarkElectricity]

It's not all doom and gloom!

SEL have withdrawn their appeal which means the price remains at 54p until December 2021 😃

Astonishing. So @GovJersey has chosen to miss an opportunity to protect Islanders from #Covid19. My advice to patients is different. Don’t travel. If you are elderly then limit social contact to essentials. Work from home. If they have got it wrong then things are really bad.
