It's the first game, but that 0-1 is going to sting. One less SEC loss we can afford in a year where we go to UF (T-10 matchup), UGA and have an extra road game (OU is considered a home game). Need to get Arch confident before 10/4 in the Swamp. Pieces are there.
5) Need playmakers on the outside. DMo and Wingo were just not good enough. It is unbelievable that Parker Livingstone is our third wide out but dude showed up. Offensive struggles were on Arch, but Wingo needs to be an elite #1.
4) In a game I thought the secondary was going to get beat, they held up their end of the bargain. Malik Muhammad was decent in coverage, Littleton is special. Need him out there every snap. JG needs to be more of a playmaker in the box than a strict cover guy.
3) No QB pressure. We've struggled to have a pass rushing presence on the edge over the whole Sark tenure (besides Sorrell, at times). In a game like this, we needed turnovers. Pressure created turnovers. Defense was great but one big play away from the W.
2) The Red Zone offense is a long term issue with Sark at this point. From the 1 at OU 2 year ago, Within the 10 in the Sugar Bowl, last year's semifinal. He's either too cute or just runs the rock up the gut. Need an overhaul there
Some thoughts:
1) The lack of creativity from the offense from the first snap was evident. Where are the bullshit throwback screens, Tight end rub routes to the sideline, etc. We were never a drop back and throw it offense. And, when we thought we were with Quinn, we sucked
