We're proud to share that Jindal Stainless has commissioned the 1.2 MTPA stainless steel melt shop (SMS) in Indonesia, ahead of schedule, as part of our continued focus on strengthening capacity and capabilities. This takes the company’s total melting capacity to 4.2 MTPA, including 3 MTPA in India.
Complementing this increase in the melting facility, the company is also gearing up to expand its downstream capacities. This includes commissioning a new 1.1 MTPA Hot Rolled Annealed Pickled (HRAP) line, and 0.17 MTPA Cold Rolling capacity, in Jajpur, Odisha, part of the earlier announced outlay of INR 1,900 crore, as well as further strengthen its cold rolling capacities at Hisar and Kharagpur at a fresh investment of INR 900 crore.
These developments will enable a stronger portfolio of thinner cold rolled products, while reinforcing an integrated approach to growth.

#Gold worth around ₹60 lakh is missing from a PNB bank locker in New Delhi.
Now think about this carefully.
If ₹60,00,000 of your gold vanished from a bank locker…
How much would the bank pay you?
₹60 lakh?
₹30 lakh?
₹15 lakh?
Wrong.
Only 100X your annual locker rent.
If you pay ₹5,000 yearly,
you get ₹5,00,000. That’s it.
Even if your jewellery was worth ₹60 lakh.
And if it’s a natural disaster?
The bank owes you nothing.
Most people don’t know this until it’s too late.
A locker stores your gold.
It doesn’t insure it.
Would you still keep all your jewellery there?
Ramesh and Suresh.
Two friends. Same town. Same routine. Same excitement when the IPO of Ola Electric hit the market.
Ramesh invested ₹1,00,000 in the IPO.
Suresh bought an Ola Electric scooter.
Life felt upgraded.
Every evening after work, they would take the scooter out. Round around the city. Café hopping. Cold coffee. Burgers. Sometimes beer. Weekend long rides. Daily expenses didn’t matter much because “future is electric.”
Months passed.
Then one day, the scooter had a battery issue. Burnt out. Service center. Waiting. No vehicle.
A year later, Ramesh checked his portfolio.
The stock price had fallen heavily. Almost 60–70% down from his buy price.
Now things changed.
No scooter. No café rides. No evening beer plans.
Now they didn’t have money or a scooter to go out, so they had no choice but to eat at home.
Slowly, walking became routine. Home food became normal. Spending reduced automatically.
They started living a healthy lifestyle.
Evenings were quieter now. More time at home. More rest. More focus on themselves.
Today, Ramesh and Suresh are thankful to Bhavesh Aggarwal.
