btw, for what it's worth, I think your pixel art is top tier and has marketing value in itself. Definitely more a subject issue than execution.

Next step for this project I think is:

-touch up raptor + heroine w/ 3dcoat
-model some vegetation
-make lil turntable slideshow with what I have
-continue retexturing the other dinos
-rig everything
-Make 2nd character

New Trex texture! After trying many apps, I'm sticking with 3DCoat for painting. I'm also thinking of ditching normal maps and sticking with flat shading to go semi-PS2 look

Started retexturing my dinos. Preferred the colors I had but it was too dark... before I redo next 1, I rly need a better way to paint than the vanilla blender hand-painting flow😅

was annoyed by the way you edit the length of frames in aseprite.. made a small script that shows visually how long your frames are and allows you to edit the duration with a slider rather than typing numbers. Hope it helps others!
