Today, we pause to remember the 16 lives lost and the 13 lives forever changed in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash on April 6, 2018.

Seven years later, the pain of that day is still felt deeply across Canada and beyond. But so too is the powerful legacy of Logan Boulet and the incredible ripple effect of his decision to register as an organ donor. His selfless act inspired over 150,000 Canadians to follow his lead — a movement now known as the Logan Boulet Effect.

🎉 Congratulations to the Saskatoon Stars & Regina Pat Canadians on punching their tickets to Under-18 AAA nationals! 🏒🇨🇦

The Stars are West Regional champs after a dominant 6-0 win in Game 3! Tarynn Sutter stopped all 33 shots for the shutout, while Halle Duchene netted a hat trick to power the win. Next stop: the Esso Cup in Lloydminster, April 20–26! 🌟

Meanwhile, the Pat Canadians are headed to the TELUS Cup after a strong playoff run and an impressive showing at the West Regional. They will make their 10th national championship appearance in Chilliwack, B.C. 💪

The Battlefords Sharks fought hard this season, including an OT victory to make the final. In the end, the Saskatoon Stars claimed their 5th title and 1stsince 2019.

Stryker already has a gold medal from this past summer in the 4X400m relay for Team Canada track and field team, and looks to add another for hockey when she competes in Switzerland next month.
