@b4u_sat@rodger@minakimes Well, I can tell you that a pohutukawa is evergreen tree in new zealand that flowers mostly in summer so is called the NZ Christmas tree.

#TMLtalk
Hockey would never let
the politics of brotherhood cost you what you crossed oceans for.
Hockey’s a game.
The rest is just what they can get away with in its name.
It’s just “locker room talk” they say.
Even when the locker room has desks and no skates in sight.
Hockey would never suggest the real problem is that you don’t get the “joke”.
Never imply you’re “ruining it” by not being chill.
Never make your reporting the ‘real’ crime.
But it was, for us, a decision we'd made for a few good reasons of safeguarding the brand, and also, the fans (from our perspective).
That being said, being called "upstairs" to explain that was one of my more terrifying life moments.
Someone brought it up to me today, and it had been such a long time since it happened, but once upon a time, I looked up from my desk at the Leafs to see our twitter feed being talked about on CBC.
And that's never good right?
I hated seeing them get dismissed because of a 'follow' (and you know, that it was 100% happening to female fans more often than men).
So that's what happened.
It didn't change much, because we saw the @ and #'s 99.9% of the time anyway.
It’s so messed a symptom of ADHD is a heightened sensitivity to criticism.
Like “yeah you’re gonna have trouble completing tasks, and meeting deadlines, but don’t worry, you’ll also feel soul crushing guilt when someone points it out!”
