GOD-FAMILY-CANADA-DOGS-MAPLE LEAFS-SYNCRETISM-TARKOV-DEAF

Stalin described the blueprint of the UN before it existed. And he explained exactly how it would break.

This is a fragment of his WWII-era speech. I’ve cut it right at the key question: how do you prevent renewed German aggression in 20-30 years?

His answer was strikingly clear - and unsettlingly prophetic. He proposed a new international security organization, empowered with real authority and armed force, capable of immediately stopping aggression and punishing its perpetrators. Not a repeat of the League of Nations, which failed because it had neither power nor means, but a body that would work only if the major powers that defeated Hitler acted in unity. Break that unity, and the system collapses.

Sounds familiar? That is essentially the blueprint of the UN. And when unity disappears, what happens? Russia becomes the enemy and Germany starts ramping up military production again, producing 1,500 million artillery shells per year and counting.

Association of iron deficiency and iron-deficiency anemia with behavioral problems in children with autism: a cross-sectional study https://t.co/CoET2WGbop Takes me back to the Latif study: https://t.co/X3E1VE59Ew and the need to screen, screen, screen (and treat).

[The HighWire @HighWireTalk]

Researchers measured chemical residue locked into the baby teeth of 22 children with autism and 16 without.

19 compounds turned up significantly higher in the autism group. Five of the nine chemicals most elevated in that group are found in baby bottles.

The study doesn't prove those chemicals caused autism, and the sample size is small, but 39 of the 60 compounds detected are already classified as developmental toxicants or endocrine disruptors.

@Smiddendorp22 breaks down what researchers found and why the exposure windows start earlier than most parents realize.

🎬WITHOUT WARNING (1994) | FULL FILM

Here's an alien contact film that you've probably never heard of.

An end-of-the-world film made to look like the news you’d be watching while it happened.

CBS originally aired Without Warning on October 30, 1994 (and I had just turned 5 years old just over a week earlier.) A television program is interrupted by reports that three objects have struck the United States, France, and China. The initial explanation is an asteroid breaking apart, but the eyewitness accounts and scientific assessments begin to suggest something far more troubling.

Then more objects are detected heading toward Earth.

This is a wonderfully unsettling use of the “we interrupt this program” format, very much in the spirit of War of the Worlds. Anchors and experts try to make sense of the situation while you’re left watching for the next update, wondering how much worse the news can get, and whether any of this is happening by chance.

Sharing the film here for anyone who missed it, or hasn’t seen it in years. Settle in and give it a chance to build. I’d avoid reading much more about the story before watching. They did a really nice job with this honestly, and there are a few actors you'll recognize. Enjoy. #ufox #ufotwitter
