In all fairness, it holds up to the "Hell" setting, because things such as sex-positivity and same-gender sex, etc., are in close correlation with the death sin Lust. I gave it an unbiased watch, and that's how I see it at least.

And one thing's certain: the derogatory, blunt, and insulting nature of most dialogue is a thing that said movement usually cannot deal with all too well.
I like to draw reference from the gaming culture and its increasing censorship and codes of conduct when it comes to communication options and "disrespectful behavior".

I would say it's a mixed bag at best, with plenty of room for interpretation, but not a show that tries to target a stand-alone audience.

The diegetic rationale actually allows people outside the LGBT movement to enjoy this piece of media, or at least is invited to do so.

While it is LGBTQ supportive, it doesn't make this the show's whole identity.

I'm not much for the singing, but the dialogue was rather enjoyable here and there in the few episodes I gave a try. The animations are clean too, plus the voice acting. And I have nothing to do with LGBT by any means.

The crude and black humor made it enjoyable, as well as the societal aspects reflected in it, which are all too similar to the real world.
