If you use MetaMask, you may see a warning message. The MetaMask team has confirmed that this is a false positive and has stated that they are actively working on a fix.
The next post will be the mint link, good luck!
Due to unforeseen circumstances with third party providers, we have made the decision to move our entrance to the EVM space to tomorrow (May 7th, 19:00 UTC)
We greatly understand that this might have caused some frustration and we sincerely apologise.
The snapshot for GenesisPad ticket holders has indeed, still taken place.
Thank you for your patience.
See you all tomorrow.
As cringe as this might sound, we didn’t just show up out of nowhere.
We started with a big vision and basically no experience. The early stuff we built was terrible. Low-quality products, awful UI, bugs everywhere, honestly, some of the worst ux/ui in web3.
But we kept building @ordinalgenesis
Every bad product taught us something. We kept iterating, trying new things, and slowly getting better. Over time, our team went from five, to four, to three, and eventually just two people still pushing.
For the first six months, we made no money. That wore people down fast. But after enough trial and error, we realized the only real way forward was to build something bigger: a launchpad.
We even had a very strong developer helping oversee the work for a while. After about a month, he quit and told us, word for word: “I see no light at the end of the tunnel with you guys.”
And honestly, looking back, I get it. We were delusional.
But somehow, through sheer persistence and a bit of luck, we pulled it off. After three straight months of 16 hour days, we shipped a working ordinals launchpad. At that time, there were very few products in the space that actually worked, so it mattered.
At the peak of the ordinals market, I’d estimate we handled around 80% of the mint-on-demand launches on bitcoin.
We made a lot of mistakes, and there’s plenty I would do differently now. But despite all of that, we built great products for great communities, and we built a profitable business in the process.
So the point is simple: we didn’t come from nowhere.
What people see today is the result of years of work, building through bad markets, surviving a fast-moving industry, learning through failure, and staying in the game long enough to get good.
