Did you know that the Satilla River originates in Ben Hill County? It then flows eastward and a little southward for approximately 200 miles, before emptying into St. Andrews Sound and the Atlantic Ocean in Camden County! ๐๐คฉ
Here's a shrimply amazing fact about our beautiful river: about 52 species of fish live in the Satilla River Basin! The banded topminnow is one of the rare species that inhabit these waters. ๐๐ฎ

It looks like weโre piranha roll now. There are only two more days left for the Fishing Tournament, let's get out there and krill it!
This one is pretty fish-tastic, Will! ๐ฃ๐
Shout out to planet Earth โ she keeps us grounded! ๐ฟ๐ฒ
Happy Earth Day, friends! We hope you have a fun-filled day of protecting our beautiful planet. Watch out for all those Earth Day puns out there though, some of them are just terra-ble! ๐๐
What is a day do all fish dread? Fry-day!
This largemouth bass Carter caught just might rival the magnificent (and fake) bass Lex wrangled last week ๐ฑ what a good catch, friend!
You know, we recently saw a catfish at our local river! We have no clue how it baits the hook with those tiny paws though ๐ฑ๐
What a distinguished gentle-fish with mighty fine whiskers, fin-nomenal catch Cleve! ๐ฃ
What is the first lesson fish learn at school? That the end of a hook is the point of no return! ๐คญ๐
You betta believe this is a mighty fine panfish, splendid catch Lino!
Please help us spread the word, as we begin a search for the next Satilla Riverkeeper.
