@hmalviya9 has done both for me, and this is an overdue appreciation post to him.

last year he put @nillion on my radar early, and just a discord role made me $20K (see my pinned post). i became a part of @scribble_dao through him, and have gotten more deals via his recommedation, became better at research all thanks to him.

his mantra is mainly to chase value and money follows, however, the most interesting thing about him for me in this space - that i think is a rare quality - is that he spots alpha from tech + community + timing, way before it ever reaches headlines.

think of it as a king of financial foresight.

most of us writers write about narratives once they're already moving, he spots them months, sometimes a year before they start. he was loud on Solana before 2025. look at it now; record stablecoin holders, record card spending, and tokenized stocks all taking off.

and he's humble about it. he can join small spaces, interacts with small creators/builders regardless of their following - essentially a person that goes after value in people.

now he pointed me to IMD. I dug in, wrote this piece, and it reached 31K impressions and 200+ likes -numbers I've only seen like 4 times this year. the reach was incredible! hearing him praise my writing meant even more.
