The new Hamilton Classic Cushion collection revives designs from the brand’s mid-1920s archives with compact 30mm and 34mm cases measuring just 8.1mm thick. Across six references, the styling leans heavily into the geometric proportions and vintage character of the Art Deco era.
Inside is the new hand-wound H-42, Hamilton’s smallest modern manual mechanical movement. Based on the ETA 7001, itself descended from the famously thin Peseux 7001, it adds a Nivachron balance spring and a 57-hour power reserve while helping keep the watches remarkably slim.
The collection includes plain and engraved stainless-steel cases, two yellow-gold-color PVD options, 50 meters of water resistance, and enamel, sandblasted, lacquered, and sunray dial finishes. The 30mm white enamel model uses Roman numerals, while the remaining versions feature Arabic numerals.
Steel models are priced at $995, while the two PVD-coated versions retail for $1,095.
