Are human rights a WESTERN concept?

Khalil ur Rehman Qamar thinks so UNLESS it comes to his own lifestyle. So while he may have issues with Mera Jism Meri Marzi, he doesn't see anything wrong with filmmaking/item numbers if that's what earns him his bread & butter. Wahaan, he wants WESTERN values for himself

Maria B thinks that human rights are a Western concept when it comes to trans rights but she wants the same WESTERN values for herself when she is questioned on not wearing Hijab or covering her face or being a fashion designer

Imran Khan thinks that universal human rights are a form of WESTERN imperialism & mental slavery but he quite much roots for WESTERN concepts of 'privacy' & individualism when it comes to Tyrian White or his intimate leaked calls

In short, even if human rights are a western concept, the likes of KRQ, Maria B, Imran Khan, Orya Maqbool Jan or Youth Club are all agreed upon the fact that WESTERN human rights are extremely essential to protect oneself; they just don't agree on extending the same 'Western' values to others. This hypocrisy is found to be prevalent across the whole country
