A Mullah reportedly entered a #Hindu temple in #Chittagong & sat next to a little girl, questioning her.

Later, temple visitors asked the scared girl, “Who is he to you?” She replied that she did not know him at all. The temple visitors then removed the Mullah from the premises.

The body of student Upama Dutta was recovered from Bijoy–24, a residential hall of Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU).

She was a student of the 26th batch of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program.

Her home district was #Magura.

Hindu Temple Vandalized in #Rauzan, #Chattogram.

On the night of January 27, a Hindu temple in Rauzan, Chattogram, was deliberately vandalized by Jamaat-e-Islami militants. One attack after another has targeted the religious sentiments of the Hindu community.

On 26 January 2026 at 12:45 AM, the donation box at Durga Temple in Railway Colony No. 102, Tiger Pass, #Chattogram, was broken open and cash stolen. Md. Arif, an activist of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, is allegedly involved. The incident is clearly visible on CCTV footage.

In Sirajdikhan Upazila of #Munshiganj, an idol was vandalized a day after #Saraswati Puja, when around 2 a.m. on Saturday (January 25), a group of Jamaat-e-Islami members attacked the village of Uttar Abirpara, sparking outrage and concern among the local Hindu community.

A tragic incident has happened at #Narsingdi Jail. A 27-year-old Hindu youth named Bandhon has reportedly died inside the jail. His wife said that he died because of brutal torture in the jail and that his body had clear injuries. His family has demanded a fair investigation.
