@daniel_wwf Noooo Daniel 😭 it cant be😭 mr industry expert said so, and i base all my investments on his expertise😭hes so loud about this stuff as if he knows what was in😭😭😭😭 as if….
it's the most misunderstood concept in crypto right now.
hardly anyone can explain it.
yet everyone's asking it.
"why are prices down despite so much bullish news?"
the truth is that crypto isn't trading on what the tech does today. it's trading on what the market hopes it might do tomorrow.
and the wild price swings we see today are merely the market trying to price the potential of the rails being built (ie speculation).
the real wealth will be made once real adoption arrives, and crypto becomes boring everyday tech.
so what does this mean?
to understand this concept, we need to travel back in time to 1999, the dot com boom.
back when adding ".com" to a business plan meant an instant billion dollar valuation. back when stocks traded on pure speculation about what the internet would become.
valuations had very little to do with real-world usage.
and when reality hit, the bubble burst. amazon crashed over 90%. nvidia plummeted 85%.
the headlines claimed the internet failed. but it didn't.
far from it - everything today runs on the internet.
so what happened?
the speculation phase was simply washed out to make room for the utility phase. amazon eventually reached a trillion-dollar valuation because it built useful, everyday tech on top of the newly laid digital rails (the exact kind of utility @easya_app is helping build today).
the real winners, like amazon, survived because they crossed the chasm from "speculative hype" to "everyday utility." (remember the s-curve from my previous post?).
crypto is in its 1999 era.
the market is pricing the idea of a decentralized network, not its daily reality.
and prices will continue to swing wildly on hype and speculation until blockchain tech reaches the point of mass adoption (ie people use it everyday, without even realising it).
but when this invisible tech finally does underpin the multi-trillion dollar global financial system?
you better lock in.
because by then you'll be kicking yourself for not having seen it coming.
@dom_kwok lol or it’s because interest rates are high…. But yes the utility usage stories will be timed to come out when the interest rates go down and crypto pricing readjusts due to rates coming down
Why such a generic, lack of detailed, emotional response? All of you twitter accounts blame price suppression and think the big guy is screwing the little guy over. Facts are interest rates went up and you can see crypto prices are copying the exact same chart decline from when interest rates went up in 2022.
It’s funny how a proposal like that can quickly become law, yet "Kok’s surcharge" remains tacked onto fuel prices. Or other laws that serve the state rather than the ordinary person. It seems—and I don’t want to sound like a conspiracy theorist—as if there are double standards at play.
Border controls seem "unfeasible" all year round, yet suddenly become possible when fireworks need to be checked.
And speaking of fireworks: the plan was initially to phase them out by 2030 so that business owners wouldn't lose their investments, yet the ban is now set for 2026.
If the government could tax masturbation, you’d be getting screwed twice over!
I always say: with the Left, you get screwed, but they use Vaseline so it feels good; the Right claims they use a condom, so you’re left with nothing to show for it (financially).
Anyone figured out the playbook yet? Scare everyone about AI. Call your buddies @CNBC and ask them to put your toadie on to scare them further. Tell Gary you’ll put him in as a regulator to go after AI once you regain power. Same playbook they used on crypto. Next up AI and prediction markets.
@digitalassetbuy@CNBC Lets do a drinking game. Watch several video’s for one hour of this lady @SenWarren and take a shot of tequila whenever she mentions Trump. Support the american liquor industry! She is a fan(atic).

@digitalassetbuy I can not remember this much of explaination by the democrats why they voted no. They know exactly what they did and what consequences it might have on their career. If its not the USA, we in the European Union will do it for you. I rather see the USA do it, o well…
@schnell_sc@BENNYL297485 I figured if he filed a motion to have an hour break to negotiate and debate that they would come back and vote afterwards, but apparently that's not the case. They could come back tonight and vote they can come back tomorrow and vote.
🇺🇸 Elizabeth Warren’s message to Congress:
Don’t pass the crypto bill that could benefit Trump’s crypto empire.
Pass my bill the Ending Presidential Corruption in Banking Act.
