दुमका वन प्रमंडल द्वारा विकसित नवनिर्मित “चुटोनाथ जैव विविधता पार्क” का उद्घाटन माननीय विधायक डॉ. लुईस मरांडी द्वारा किया गया। लगभग 3.5 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र में विकसित यह पार्क दुमका जिले में पर्यटन, पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल है।

पार्क में बच्चों के लिए आधुनिक चिल्ड्रन पार्क, ओपन ऑडिटोरियम, तालाब, गज़ीबो, आकर्षक उद्यान, लाइफ-साइज़ हाथी प्रतिमा तथा संथाल हूल के वीर नायकों सिद्धू-कान्हू, चाँद-भैरव एवं फूलो-झानो की प्रतिमाएँ स्थापित की गई हैं। साथ ही आगंतुकों की सुविधा हेतु पेयजल, शौचालय एवं दिव्यांगजन अनुकूल सुविधाएँ भी विकसित की गई हैं।

यह पार्क आने वाले समय में लोगों के लिए मनोरंजन, पर्यटन, पर्यावरणीय जागरूकता एवं प्रकृति के निकट समय व्यतीत करने का प्रमुख केंद्र बनेगा।

Chutonath Biodiversity Park was inaugurated today. Developed by the Dumka Forest Division, the project also cleared nearly 2 acres of encroached forest land with support of locals. The park will provide green public space, environmental learning, and boost local livelihoods.

पिछले 8 महीनों में दुमका पार्क के सार्वजनिक पुस्कालय से लगभग 370 किताबें से इश्यू हुई। पार्क में टहलने आने वाले लोगों पर चलने वाली इस छोटी सी फ्री लाइब्रेरी के लिए यह बहुत बड़ी बात है।

इस लाइब्रेरी को अपनी दिनचर्या का हिस्सा बनाने के लिए आप सभी का बहुत-बहुत धन्यवाद।
