On my travels I see quite many foreigners just keep their passports without fear of it being stolen or getting damaged.

Here in the pic is a passport of a traveler from a Schengen country casually keeping it at the table on the overnight train journey in Russia. She kept it the same way till we reached the destination the next day.

Is this too much confidence or just been careless about the only document on which your entire identity depends on a foreign land?

@DalRotiForLife Costs few paisa. Really, I don't think that's a bad idea. Think of rural, not so educated folks. They're not going to exclusively get travel insurance on their own, but this way they are covered. It's same concept as travel insurance is mandatory while traveling abroad

New technology make our lives better or complicates it? U can mk duplicate key from roadside chabiwala for a simple lock but digital lock needs technician. U can change tubelight urself but LED needs electrician. Window ACs ran for decades, split ACs need repair so often. Agree?
