Arabian peninsula is now called Saudi regardless if they’re new or not.

It’s a 300yo kingdom, with the same people that been there for the past thousands of years, they just united all the tribes under one name “Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”, and a fun fact, the tribes elders chose the name.
