Great discussion today on inflammation in HFpEF/HFmrEF with Dr. Lam.

My take home: HFpEF/HFmrEF are systemic syndromes where comorbidities drive chronic inflammation, endothelial dysfunction, microvascular inflammation, fibrosis, and stiffness.

Dr. Lam highlighted the clinical opportunity: hsCRP ≥2 mg/L can help identify inflammatory risk, and POSEIDON showed ~2/5 patients with HF have high inflammatory risk supporting future anti-inflammatory strategies across the HF spectrum.
