The trip report for the June tour is up. One of the highlights was the Arabian Lark we had on the first day. Check out what else we saw at https://t.co/PFzDmDB5Dj. #birdtour#birdsofsaudiarabia#birdtours#saudibirding
We had African Olive Pigeon on every #SaudiBirding#tour since March 2022. Here’s one of eleven birds we encountered back In October. Showing off my #birding-by-ear skills with a Yemen Warbler and a Yemen Thrush calling in the back ground. قول ماشالله #birdtour#birdtours
No tour of Saudi’s southwest would be complete without an encounter with the endemic subspecies of African Stonechat (Saxicola torquatus felix). These charming little birds occur year round in juniper woods above 2000 meters. #saudibirding#saudibirdtour#birdtour#birdtours
Prior to 2020 there had been less than a dozen records in eBird of Arabian Golden Sparrow from Saudi Arabia. Since 2020, we’ve added almost two dozen more. During the October tour we found a mega flock of around 600. #birdtour#birdtours#arabiangoldensparrow#saudibirding
@Markatlush@xenocanto@dutchbirding@SoundApproachUK Very nice! They were lucky to find them singing this time of year. Summertime there will be males in song flight virtually everywhere you turn on the Habala plateau.
We were incredibly lucky during the October tour to not only see the charismatic Asir Magpie—we also managed to record a total of 25 across six different locations, with a total of 12 at a single village—the most I’ve ever seen in one place. #birdtour

What an honor TV presenter and filmmaker @Nigelmarven joined the October Arabian Endemics Tour. Big thanks to him for making it so memorable and for the awesome plug during our visit to Jebel Ibrahim. #birdtour#saudibirdtour#chasedbydinosaurs https://t.co/8IeHl7a8qm
@chrispollard48 Well, a hybrid (red-backed x red-tailed) is certainly possible as well. Do you have any shots of the mantle and dorsal side of the tail?
The trip report for the October 2023 Arabian Endemics Tour is up at https://t.co/yFZPkZyxqf. A major highlight was our encounter with this male Arabian Golden-winged Grosbeak. Check out the report for more and then sign up for one of the 2024 tours! #saudibirding#birdtour
@forevershallon@benappel@TorontoStar Ironic, huh, when she identifies herself as an “agnostic” Canadian—not sure about God but so sure about her son’s gendered soul that she’s put him on a path towards irreversible harm.
@FoxNews Guess we should remove the wall as it’s clearly unsafe, just as a federal judge ordered Texas to remove the floating barrier in the Rio Grande on the same grounds. @GovernorGreg
