@Majd__188 (P.S.: "Level of the Tower" is King-speak that means "Area of the Multiverse". You will come to, soon, in sha Allah, once The Dark Tower takes over your life.)
@Majd__188 I know, the most overhyped fantASSy book in the last 2 decades.
As for The Stand, I am rereading it because an anthology was published last year called The End of the World As We Know It. This is a collection of short stories that take place in The Stand level of the Tower.
So it's like:
Watch me as I
Rise through the pain, I walk through the flames, insane,
With lyrical scatter and spit that'll splatter your brain,
I'm tired of chatters, get choppers to rattle your frame,
We inn like Wendy's it's my way we robbin the game.
Whenever someone shows interest or an inherent love for the written word, they would naturally gravitate towards that language's poetry or music.
Now, songs and written text can vary, but to me?
I like gangster rap that borders on the horrorcore sub-genre.
The world, the Kingdom, suffers violence and the violent shall take it by force...
If we can't live in peace then let us die in peace.
And we have been so betrayed. We have been so terribly betrayed.
So my opinion is:
To those who say King can't write good romances:
King writes them just fine. It is not his forte, but he's fine with romance.
Romances that were good: Lucy Swan and Larry Underwood (The Stand), Bev Marsh and Bill Hanscom (It), Roland and Sussanah Delgado, etc.
They're all great!
The Winter King
@Majd__188 Oof, that one too.
Btw, Ace Merril shows up in THE BODY short story (collected in DIFFERENT SEASONS, or you can buy it individually).
He's a recurring character in the Castle Rock series of King Books.
