I know that Jewish people, and everyone experiencing discrimination, need action not words.
Together with NHS England, we'll waste no time in setting Lord Mann’s recommendations in motion to build a health service that lives up to its founding values.
We are supporting all of the recommendations from Lord Mann's review to tackle antisemitism and other forms of racism across the NHS.
This will mean that both NHS patients and staff will be better protected against hate.

Lord John Mann: "A badge that says, 'I support Palestine', or a badge that says, 'I support Israel', I don't want my dentist to be wearing that when they are about to drill my teeth".
This comes as the government accepts the findings of his review into antisemitism in the NHS.
The ethical gymnastics here are remarkable to watch. @CaolanReports is investigating the murder of Ukrainian women and children by Russia’s war machine. He’s gone to a plant in Ireland that makes that possible but killing Ukrainian children isn’t grounds for sanctions, according to local voices. But it would be for Israel.
Today I have met Lucy, Mark and Katie, Henry Nowak’s mother, father and stepmother. Their courage is extraordinary.
They have endured the most appalling loss, it is a life sentence for them.
They have also faced the agonising decision to release the harrowing body-worn camera footage, knowing how painful it would be and how strongly people would react. They did so because they want truth, accountability and change.
They have asked that we work across political parties and religions to rebuild trust in the police. That trust has been broken because of what happened, and I agree with them on that.
We must also be prepared to examine, carefully and seriously, religious practices or exemptions that permit the carrying of dangerous weapons in public, and other activities that are not conducive to the public good. We also need to examine where the law needs to change.
Henry’s family do not want anger to tear communities apart. They are a family who have friends across faith and race, and so did Henry. His family want his memory to help bring our society together.
Everyone knows I have strong views about how we should deal with equality under the law. What the family agreed with me on is that we need to bring common sense back, and that is what we should all be fighting for.
I promised the family that we will work to ensure there is a positive legacy for Henry out of this tragedy.
That is my focus now.
@Osint613 Yes. The UK media don’t report most of the information you present, and when they do it is 72 hours later. I try to follow a range of sources of many ‘flavours’. While not unique, I value the whatsapp feed, and that you retract errors as soon as you notice them.
Keir Starmer: “there is no such thing as two-tier policing”.
Police chiefs today: “we will review controversial guidance advising officers to treat ethnic minorities differently”.
The absurdity of modern Britain.
This is inversion so callous it's hard to believe.
The Holocaust had a survival rate of about 30%. Millions of people disappeared from European cities and towns over several years. Everybody knew because it was happening all around them.
Gaza has a survival rate, despite the worst and most deadly and horrible periods of the war, of 97%.
All the dead Jews were noncombatants. A large percentage of the dead Gazans were combatants.
And the Jews of Europe, even as their millennia-old civilization was being systematically wiped out, wanted nothing from the societies that surrounded them except to be allowed to live in peace.
Gaza's leadership of religious fanatics, meanwhile, wants every last Israeli dead and gone, is willing to fight to the last Gazan to achieve that aim, has said so publicly and worked for decades to blow up every peace attempt -- and even now believes that Gaza's destruction would be a worthwhile sacrifice to lay on the altar of Israel's destruction, because their god told them so.
So Israelis can reasonably believe, given those features of the Gaza war that aren't true about any genocide ever, and were pretty much the opposite of what was happening in the Holocaust, that Gaza's suffering is a bad and painful war, but not remotely a genocide.
But the point of it all, of course, is not to analyze Gaza, but specifically to lump it together with the Holocaust -- to cast the Jews as the new Nazis.
The only reason this person would dare to make such an insanely ahistorical and immoral parallel is because this is the heart of the bigoted propaganda campaign in which he enthusiastically participates: The point of it all is to make the Jews into the Nazis.
A culture that obsessed about Jews being evil and was then shocked by the Holocaust into obsessing about dead Jews as the apotheosis of righteous victimhood is now obsessively engaged in knocking Jews off that moral pedestal they themselves put them on.
That's why they don't care one whit about Hamas massacres of Gazans, about genocidal wars in Syria or Yemen (even when they've funded and armed the sides), about flotilla activists currently held by the Libyans...literally nothing triggers a response except Jews.
They still, even after all these generations, no matter what else is happening in the world or in their own societies, can't stop thinking about Jews.
And as we Jews learned in the 1940s -- the actual, historical 1940s, not the weird fantasies conjured up by these bigots -- a whole society can be in the grip of a callous, destructive bigotry and still believe it is true and righteous.
Britain had a moment of silence for George Floyd. Our politicians kneeled en masse to show their outrage at his killing. "I can't breathe" became a slogan.
George Floyd died on the other side of the world. He wasn't British.
Henry Nowak *was* British and his treatment by the police was shocking and negligent in the extreme. Yet there is no minute of silence. There is no coordinated public campaign. There is no kneeling at sporting events.
And we all know why.
During the summer of BLM, some people said "All Lives Matter". This was treated as the highest form of racism and anyone who said this was immediately cancelled. Why? Because the people in charge don't actually think all lives matter in the same way.
They have created a racial hierarchy of victimhood where a career criminal who died through mistreatment by police in a foreign country with 0 evidence of racism like George Floyd is automatically sanctified because of the colour of his skin.
And Henry Nowak, a British man, one of ours, is automatically dismissed and ignored because of the colour of his.
This is the ugly fruit of so-called "anti-racism", an obsession with race that has created a two-tier society which treats people differently because of the colour of their skin.
This needs to stop.
If I told you that a student studying for her PHD claimed that the UK is having a heat wave because Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, would you believe me?
I wouldn’t believe me either if I didn’t see it with my own eyes and hear it with my own ears.
What will they blame Israel for next?
HT @TheModerateCase
I've said from the very beginning, from a few days before the war began, that bombs won't bring down this regime. I explained why in a two-hour deep dive into its political theology.
And I've been saying almost since October 7 that we're in a multi-year war across multiple fronts -- in the way the wars of '56, '67, '69-'71 and '73 were all actually one war, a defining confrontation between Nasserism and Israel across multiple fronts.
America should be involved in what's going to come, if only because its interests will be massively affected by it.
Iran will close Hormuz again, every chance it gets. It was always going to do so. And it won't stop pushing for war because it really and truly wants our extermination and has spent its best people and scarce funding on building the violent mass-martyrdom proxies that threaten our borders.
This regime believes God has ordained them to lead a world revolution, Ali Shariati's "Red Shia" Marxist-coded Shiism. And it starts, for various ideological reasons, with Israel.
In other words, there's no way to avoid more war going forward, unless Iran somehow magically awakens from the 47-year nightmare of Khomeinist "revolution."
And global gas prices will inevitably be affected.
America should be involved to whatever degree gives it the ability to influence these outcomes and help mitigate the costs to America.
But America should calibrate that involvement to the understanding that this standoff isn't going anywhere, that it will periodically explode into war -- and that it will be a feature of the Middle East until one side collapses. Which could take a generation.
Oh, and our side won't lose. Because we're not incompetent self-destroyers like the mullahs.
🚨BREAKING: Henry Nowak's father speaks out on the murder of his son:
"He told officers he could not breathe NINE TIMES, he said he had been stabbed FOUR TIMES, but the officer replied saying' 'I don't think you have, mate.'"
What a brave man.
Last night PSG fans rioted during and after the Champions League final.
57 police officers were injured.
Cars and shops set alight.
One mob even tried to storm a police station.
Police arrested 780.
22,000 police were deployed.
Presumably, if they are drawn to play an English club in next year’s Champions League, all the people who claimed they wanted Maccabi Tel Aviv banned on grounds of public safety (and not because they were in fact a bunch of anti-Jewish racist obsessives), will be demanding the French fans are banned too?
Elderly grandmothers spreading lies about the Jewish state, demanding its boycott, and pressuring it to surrender to people who openly call for its destruction.
Rarely has antisemitism dressed so sweetly.
Rarely has it been so dangerous.

Jeremy Bowen and the BBC’s pattern of rushed, narrative-driven reporting and LIES.
First, the Al-Ahli Hospital “massacre”, October 17, 2023.
Bowen claimed an Israeli strike flattened the hospital, killing 500. The world erupted. It was a misfired PIJ rocket in the parking lot. The building stood. Casualties wildly inflated.
Bowen later admitted he got it wrong on visuals… but regretted “nothing.” He knew he lied, but that was his intention.
And this wasn’t the first time.
In Ukraine (Irpin, March 2022), Bowen was filmed lying prone on the ground during a dramatic report, claiming heavy fire, all while a local woman casually walked past looking at him oddly. Critics called it staged theatrics. Bowen defended it as standard procedure under shelling.
The hospital incident reporting was no accident. The pattern is clear… rapid blame against Israel, dramatic framing, slow or reluctant corrections when wrong. The story was deliberately designed to shift sympathy away from the victims of Oct 7, and toward the Gazans. It was a sign of what was to follow for three years.
Media like the BBC helped turn perpetrators into victims and complicated the truth when it mattered most.
Watch Bowen on the hospital incident and decide for yourself.
If you’re tired of this cycle, please share this.
Listen to Sophia Salma Khalifa, a Muslim Arab-Israeli woman, tell the truth about Gaza.
In 2005, Israel completely left Gaza. No Jews alive or dead. They even took the graves. They handed over greenhouses, homes, and infrastructure, hoping Gaza would become the Singapore of the Middle East.
The people of Gaza had a real chance.
Then they elected Hamas.
Hamas burned it all down, murdered everyone who opposed them, stole the opportunity, and turned Gaza into a launchpad for terror instead of a thriving state.
This is what happens when radical Islamists win. They don’t build. They destroy.
Powerful testimony from someone who actually understands the reality on the ground.
Civilizational suicide has consequences.
