To prevent any confusion, your existing legacy iPhone will work fine. However, if for whatever reason you need to reinstall iOS (messed up Jailbreak, phone bootlooping etc), this is not possible anymore, and your legacy iPhone/iPad is bricked.

Apple has also unsigned iOS 6.1.3 and iOS 8.4.1. They still show up in software update though. Be advised, it's possible trying such update will just brick the iPhone/iPad you try that on!

Here are pics of a US model (eSIM only) iPhone 14 Pro Max. Setup in US, with a US Apple ID & US Region set in settings. Yet, it asks for UK ID to be verified as it can tell I live here.

Note the thumbnail shows a meme from 2019 when hardware level Jailbreak Checkra1n was in development. Assume Palera1n is updated or a new Jailbreak tool is made instead of Checkra1n.

Also, this is a release of a bootrom exploit. Someone needs to put the work in to create a Jailbreak from it.

When Checkm8 bootrom exploit released a Jailbreak was made from it, but you never know with this Usbliter8 bootrom exploit

Apple’s hidden iOS feature added 2 years ago can finally be used today!

With iOS 27 recovery mode, you can now use a 2nd iPhone to factory reset/update iOS WITHOUT a PC.

What's incredible is your second iPhone can be on as low as iOS 18! iPhone 12 & newer only

This means after 2 years since iOS 18 released, you can now activate the hidden “Restore Nearby iPhone” feature and remotely factory reset/update iOS an iPhone running iOS 27.
