Weed is illegal, student debt isn't cancelled, roe v wade is being overturned, lgbtq community constantly under attack, prisons are overflowing...stop telling us that the way to fix this is to vote because we have a dem pres, house, and senate and this shit is still happening

This would be like if someone blew up... Well, we don't have a media company as good & influential as Al Jazeera, so I can't think of an analogy. But this CANNOT stand.
We have three essential items on our plate:
Confirming President Biden’s cabinet and key officials.
Providing desperately needed COVID relief.
The second impeachment trial of Donald Trump.
The Senate must—and will—do all three.
If seeing that young, powerful, brilliant young Black woman up there reading that poem - standing in the middle of all that pressure plus history of what this nation done to us and still asked us to perform well - made you feel anything besides love/grace for her, quit poetry.
We need to normalize the fact that it's unacceptable for any mainstream institution to hire someone who worked for any of Trump's campaigns, at the RNC, or inside the Administration.
Order of operations:
1) 25th Amendment so he doesn't have control over our nuclear arsenal;
2) Impeachment and removal so he's never allowed to run again;
3) Expulsion of Cruz, Hawley, and everyone else who attempted this seditious coup;
4) Inaugurating Joe Biden.
Y’all let’s be clear - trump supporters were ALLOWED in, and police didn’t stop them because THE POLICE ARE ON THEIR SIDE.
