Today, we FMGs are at the NMC protesting against the notice published by @NMC_BHARAT on 6 March 2026, which gives clarification regarding COVID-19 online classes. NMC is issuing this clarification six years after the pandemic and is now asking us to follow it. Today, AFA (@official_afa_) and AIMSA(@official_aimsa), with the collective support of all FMGs, are demanding that @NMC_BHARAT withdraw this notice.”

A candidate with –40 marks in Neetpg can become a specialist doctor in this country, yet Foreign Medical Graduates who have already compensated for their online classes, cleared the FMGE and are diligently completing internships are being burdened with new superimposed guidelines every single year since COVID.

The irony is undeniable: COVID struck in 2020–21, but even today @NMC_BHARAT continues to publish guidelines citing “COVID online classes” as if the pandemic were ongoing. This is not regulation it is harassment on FMGs.

Despite the Andhra High Court clearly outlining these points in its verdict, @NMC_BHARAT has still chosen to harass FMGs by issuing arbitrary compensation rules in the public notice dated 06/03/26.
We FMGs demand an immediate clarification and the withdrawal of this unjust notice.

@NMC_IND is not granting the whole 2017 batch our Eligibility certificate which is vital for appearing in FMGE this December 2023, even after completing our medical education and meeting all the document requirements made by NMC.
