Hello @Svntvmvriv , @kicksupport@KICKEthan@StakeEddie I am ThunderStrauss, Partner on Kick, and I would like to share a recommendation to improve the platform.
Currently, the shadowban for spam system has been effective in combating serious issues with scripters and users who automate messages. However, it presents a critical point: it limits genuine interaction in the channels. Community engagement and growth — both for streamers and viewers — are strengthened when a real person writes in the chat, even if they only greet, say goodbye, or participate minimally. Every authentic interaction is valuable for the platform.
The problem is that many innocent users who type manually end up punished by the algorithm. This is not only unfair, but it also affects emotionally and morally those who are sanctioned without reason, generating frustration and discouragement. As a result, important members of the community are lost, or their desire to interact on the platform decreases.
Therefore, I propose the following:
Remove the shadowban punishment for spam.
Implement a mixed CAPTCHA system (at least 2 types) to block scripters and chatbotters without affecting real users.
Limit users to 100–200 messages per hour or per day (this number can be adjusted). Once they reach that limit, they must complete a mandatory CAPTCHA to unlock another 100–200 messages. This would allow genuine interaction while preventing mass spam and bot usage.
With these measures, healthy interaction would be encouraged, and innocent users would no longer be unfairly punished. Additionally, protection against automation would be simplified without relying on complex algorithms that can generate false positives.
I would also like to emphasize that what is considered spam for some, may not be for others. Any update that fosters healthy coexistence between streamers and viewers should be carefully analyzed, as it benefits the entire community.
This recommendation was discussed together with my community, which only seeks the best for the platform. I highlight the participation of users such as Khanino_mx, SauriLegion, AlexisVT, and myself, ThunderStrauss. After reviewing the negative and positive points, we found many more benefits if this method is considered over the current one.
I trust you and appreciate that you always take our suggestions into account. We will continue working together to improve the platform, for a better Kick every day.
Cheers to that!
@tstraussvt@Svntvmvriv how can they improve the platform if they do not know their own streamers and their types of consumers. If you want ideas on how to combat cheaters, you can contact me, i want to see a better platform
1. Balance or revert the KPP changes implemented on June 23rd because they only hurt the honest streamer; the cheater just had to use twice as many bots.
2.Discuss the changes implemented in recent months and why they have only increased the number of cheaters
3.Remember that the quality of the stream should be there with or without an audience; arguing that a streamer is better or worse based solely on the number of viewers is misguided.
4. Remember that the product of Kick is the streamer and the end consumer is the viewer Efforts should be made to increase organic discovery and improve the algorithm so that viewers can reach the streamer.A viewer's value lies in being a viewer, a real audience; their worth is not based on whether they are active in the chat, donate, or not. Many of them come to talk, others to be quiet, others to listen, others to sleep. We must recognize that its value begins when it consumes a streamer's content and remains there.
5. I invite @Svntvmvriv O @StakeEddie O @BijanTehrani Create a new account without a partner and another with a partner, don't tell anyone who you are, and try to stream like any other member of the platform. They can last from 1 hour to 8 hours if you like, this is so that you can experience for yourselves the reality of being an honest streamer on the platform. And how difficult it is to stand out naturally and organically, as well as for them to understand what we're trying to tell them with the recent changes to the KPP.
6. The difference between being a streamer and a content creator: as a streamer, our discovery shouldn't be based on whether we are also a content creator...The reason people find our channel shouldn't be based solely on whether we upload clips to other social media platforms. The first thing is that the platform can offer a flow of audience on its own.Remember that there's an audience for everything; there are quality streams that are calm, fun, relaxing. Quality cannot be measured by just one type of stream.Remember that there's always an audience for everything.
7.Any language other than English presents more challenges within the platform, both in terms of communicating with you and in excelling in different areas...It's easier for you to recommend, support, interact with, promote, or consume the content of your English-speaking streamers, but don't forget that there are other talents in other languages waiting to be supported.
8. The streamer is also a viewer, and as viewers they have a fundamental role on the platform; being a streamer doesn't diminish their value as a viewer.Divide the focus on what's right and wrong between the cheater and the honest streamer; when making a change, always consider this aspect, because when generalizing...Or, taking their top streamers as a reference point, they make the mistake of not analyzing the collateral damage; the streamer has to work hard to meet their expectations and gain an audience...The cheater only focuses on cheating more and finding ways to go unnoticed; they don't care if they're seen with many people, they only care about making money and achieving their goals.
9. There are managers assigned to the partners; I recommend that these managers interact with and visit the partner's streamer, at least briefly, to gather feedback on their stream....note any points of view or recommendations you may have.
10.Create a team to combat cheaters that is solely dedicated to that task, visiting streams, analyzing metrics, and implementing punishments....that the reduced income of cheaters be distributed among honest streamers
I'll leave these 10 points for now. It might sound like isolated cases, but I seriously encourage you to stream....here on the platform, on new accounts where nobody knows you, you'll discover that what we've talked about is completely true...if you look at it from another angle you will understand.

@tstraussvt@Svntvmvriv True. Streaming has become depressing. Almost everyone uses bots now, and very few people still stream organically.
It almost feels like someone reversed the platform's metric, rewarding bot users while punishing organic streamers.
I am reaching out to report a serious issue that started with the June 22-23 update, when the disconnection protection feature was added. This feature causes streams to fail constantly, leading to sudden disconnections. The only temporary fix has been to disable it and restart the stream key. From that exact day onward, the major problem with partner payments also began.
I am a full-time streamer on Kick, proudly a partner without using any tricks, streaming 14 hours daily in three languages with an active audience. From my experience, I have seen how the platform behaves and also how some streamers have resorted to dishonest practices. People who previously had 2–5 viewers now show 120–1200 daily, obtaining verification and partnership through cheating, and receiving payments up to 1600% higher than honest streamers.
Since June 22-23, along with the update that hides viewer counts, partner payments for honest streamers have dropped by 70.5% compared to previous months, while the income of those using bots has skyrocketed. This situation has increased the number of cheaters by more than 1000%, forcing many honest streamers to either quit or join in those practices.
If you wish to analyze statistics, it is very clear when comparing the period from June22- 23 until today against previous months: honest streamers’ income collapsed, while bot users’ income exploded.
I urgently ask you to balance or roll back these measures, because otherwise the platform risks being overrun by bots and losing the few genuine streamers who remain. I trust Kick and your support team, but it is essential that the income of honest streamers is not destroyed.
Thank you for your attention, and I hope this issue can be addressed as soon as possible.

@tstraussvt@kicksupport Totalmente, mejor ser removidos cuando salgan del stream en vez de 30 minutos. Incluso mejoría el rendimiento de los servidores.

Sad to say, justice isn't yours to define.
Only when you stand outside it all can you cry out for justice, holding nothing back. But should a comrade who once fought at your side do something unforgivable, could you truly pass judgment, rationally, objectively, without a shred of bias?
