It was as important to Socratese as any other principle he held. He had to accept their judgement. How he accepted it was his choice, and he did so with a quote that will echo through time.

That doesn't mean he "chose" his sentence. He just took it like a G because Socrates wasn't scared of death, or dying for what he believed in. "The unexamined life is not worth living" -Socratese

A war hero of the Pelopenysian wars.Spartans whispered stories about this dude.There was a reason people kept their disputes with him to words and not blows, especially within a prideful society such as the Greeks.He went out the way he lived.Head up, eyes open.

@11ho_oh11 @mirnasayshola you do realize that, if you're doing it correctly, your poop is no longer poop when you compost it. It is humic material. it is broken down on a cellular level to its component organic molecules. it's fertilizer because the plants and microbes have easier access to the nutrients.

@badboiBreezy @AndrewYang @PapaCon26 did you read the entire letter? He was talking about his duty as president to protect the union through whatever means necessary. That his obligation was to the Union, not to an ideology. The last line of the letter, he made clear that he believed all men should be free.

@AndrewYang If a generous billionaire like @elonmusk were to donate 500 mil, and that money were to be placed in a high yield account, it would allow for 1k monthly checks for thousands in perpetuity. Kind of like how the land-grant institutions used to work.
