Our Mission is to Stop the Removal of ANY Parking Spaces on 30th Street in North Park. Mayor Faulconer & Chris Ward, removing 571 parking spaces is wrong!
Read the truth in response to the misleading @acbowen Aug 16 @KPBSnews article on our Facebook page.

A lawsuit filed Tuesday morning called for a halt to Mayor Kevin Faulconer's proposed bike lane project for 30th Street in North Park. https://t.co/Gukbm6V9PN
A North Park coalition called “Save 30th Street Parking” filed a legal challenge against the mayor’s order to remove nearly 600 parking spaces and replace them with bike lanes.
KUSI's Dan Plante has the details. https://t.co/MrzxwgQLBu
@acbowen@kellylynndavis Let’s be honest ... And the parking garage is only in close proximity to a small fraction of the businesses affected by the removal of all parking on 30th St.
Rally today - 11am - St Patrick's church and school. Removal of 571 parking spaces on 30th St will harm our businesses and residents, AND it will AFFECT KIDS AND PARENTS dropping off/picking up from school and also PARISHIONERS attending church, weddings and funerals. Join us!
@sdurban @PSKendra @mstucky@sdbikecoalition@NPMainStreet@WaypointPublic Many home owners have been here years, are older, & don't have the ability to travel on scooters/bikes. They want to maintain independence, drive themselves to appointments or to shop. Removing 571 parking spaces will alienate them & change life as they know it for the worse.
@PSKendra Thanks, @PSKendra. Nice job presenting both sides. We're just trying to preserve what NP residents, homeowners & businesses love about our unique community. Removing 571 parking spaces will alienate many & change everything for the worse. See you today 11am @Save30thStreet Rally!
@NCapretz @PSKendra @sdurban It seems that removing parking will actually be worse for pollution. People will circle around and around looking for scarce parking - this already happens, but it will be even worse if we lose all 571 parking spaces on 30th St from Adams to Juniper.
Modern Times & 17 other businesses sent a letter to @ChrisWardD3 and @kevinfaulconer in support of Option A, the safest & most comfortable bike facility proposed for 30th Street
@ModernTimesBeer @ChrisWardD3 @kevinfaulconer Weird ... 4 of them are in Normal Heights, 3 are 8 or more blocks away and 1 says South Park but doesn’t even have s business address.
@andykoppsd @DanPlanteKUSI@sdspj@DanPlanteKUSI is just listening and reporting directly about what residents and business owners, who are actually IN NORTH PARK, want. Don’t shoot the messenger. There’s a much better, SAFER, OPTION ON UTAH ST that already exists and can be enhanced.
Are bike enthusiasts "pressuring" businesses who are against removing 30th St Parking? Hope they're not bullying them! Let our businesses know we support them and want to preserve our unique North Park experience. Utah St is a safer option which causes no harm to our community.
